Fries aren't the greatest but still way better than the cardboard's you get at In-N-Out My wife wanted breakfast though so she ordered a sausage egg and cheese. Surprised that it came with chili, pickles, onions, lettuce and tomato. Well. They're known for their burgers. What else would you expect? Finished off with 2 vanilla cones. It had been 35 years since I had Tommy's. I need to get back to one of them next time I'm in LA ”

“ Okay, I am biased but I really like the burgers! Not really a 5-star restaurant but I give 5-stars to the dedication and the legacy! I just tried the California Classic for the first time and it was very good. If you like In-n-Out then this is similar but it's a double beef patty and for a limited time it is only $2.99 for one with cheese. This burger is mouthwatering and meaty. I don't eat meat that often but this is definitely splurging. The lettuce and tomato were fresh and juicy. Then with the slather of spread and a pickle it had that tangy sweet flavor to meld with the soft bread. I put my cheese on the side because I like to eat my burgers without melted cheese (most of the time). The drive thru is pretty fast and the people are nice enough. They also have a root beer float for $2.99 (regular price). My husband got the double chili cheese and sopped up the chili paper (yes, that is a thing). ”
“ Been talking about grabbing some Tommy's again since it's been years but never made the trip out since we were always busy and craving other things. Finally my coworker wanted to get some, crazy coincidence, so we had him pick some up for the entire office. It was a bit early and I wasn't starving so I only got an order of chili cheese fries but man did I forget how good it was. I ate it as soon as they brought it back even if I wasn't exactly hungry yet but I managed to finish the whole thing. It was very heavy but super delicious. I wish the fries were a bit crispier but I guess it's not meant for this type of thing. The chili and cheese were amazing and packed so much flavor. The only problem was that it was so heavy, I was tired at work the rest of the day and then had an awful stomach ache later that evening. Might've just been too early to eat for my tummy to handle and it's never done that before. Definitely want to get their burgers and maybe even the chili cheese dog some time soon!
